E2 VISA Process
E2 VISA Procedure (out of country)
Step 1
You send us the E2 VISA documents.
Step 2
We check documents and send them to school.
Step 3
School files and submits your documents to immigration office to sponsor your E2 VISA.
Step 4
After 7~8days as soon as we get your E2 VISA issuance number, we send it to you.
Step 5
You receive visa issuance number and submit the required documents to Korean Consulate

Step 6
Korean Consulate keeps your passport.
After 1~5days Korean Consulate returns to you the E-2 visa stamped passport.
E2 VISA Procedure (in Korea)
You are eligible to apply for an E-2 visa in Korea if you have previously received an E-2 visa, however you will have to make a visa run to either Japan or China. If you come to Korea on a tourist’s visa and have all of your necessary documents to apply for an E-2 visa you will still not be able to apply for an E-2 visa. If you already have an E-2 Visa and are currently working in South Korea you and your current employer have to go to immigration office to cancel the current E2 visa.

Step 4
After 7~8days as soon as we get your E2 VISA issuance number, we send it to you.
Step 5
Upon receiving an E-2 visa issuance number you will have to go to China or Japan and visit the embassy where you will give them all required documents and have an interview. After approval you will get an E-2 visa; this is called a VISA RUN

Step 6
Korean Consulate keeps your passport.
After 1~5days Korean Consulate returns the E-2 visa stamped passport.
When you do a visa run the school or academy will pay for all of the fees.
Transferring school (in Korea)
Transfer working place from your current working place to a new working place with a new visa sponsor. When you do a transfer you must begin the process before the visa expires. You must have worked at least eight months at the previous academy in order for you to be eligible for a transfer. In addition you must have a release letter from your current school.
Step 1
You have to get a release letter from your current employer that you are leaving from the current working place by the time (mm/dd/yy).
Step 2
You send us the documents required for your application.

2) Your passport and the Alien Registration Card.
Step 3
We submit all requirement documents to the immigration office for the visa processing. Your documents are processed and, after being approved, your visa would be still available as E2 visa but the visa sponsor would be changed from that time. Thus, it’s not necessary to go to third country to do the final visa processing. It would be done in Korea.
Step 4
You would get back your passport and the alien registration card from Immigration office. The immigration office would send them to your school by overnight mail.
